Emergency Contact: Meet Kim and Eliza!

aka Tenaj L. Jackson and Rebecca Hollingsworth

Hi Stackers,

I’m so pleased to introduce you to our two lead actors - Tenaj L. Jackson as Kim and Rebecca Hollingsworth as Eliza.

Tenaj is a New Orleans-born actress, director, and dancer. She studied acting, voice and movement at The Neighborhood Playhouse and has been performing professionally for over 15 years in dance, theatre, television, and film including working opposite Kathy Bates in American Horror Story: Coven and starring in a Lifetime television movie. Tenaj’s first show with The NOLA Project was in 2012, CATCH THE WALL (written by ensemble member Gab Reisman), and her most recent TNP credit was directing THE COLORED MUSEUM. Tenaj has also served as Associate Artistic Director of The Radical Buffoons theatre collective and is the artistic director of the Nola Project, yet still somehow finds the time to work as a licensed massage therapist.

Rebecca is known for Public Relations Nightmare (2017), Trailer Park Jesus (2012) and Sac à Dos (2023). She plays Maggie the Cat in The Tennessee Williams Theatre Company of New Orleans' production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, opening July 10th and is the co-owner of the Bonafried Food Truck, opening a brick and mortar restaurant soon.

I can’t wait for y’all to see what I saw when these two did a chemistry read of “the coffeeshop scene” for me and director Nancy Cristina.

There’s still time to follow and pledge a donation to our crowdfunding campaign.

Every donation level between $10-$5,000 will get a streaming link to watch the film when it’s finished and other perks based on the donation level. Follow us, whether or not you can afford to donate, because we still get perks like festival fee waivers, when we hit different levels of followers from 250-1000. Help us build our audience by sharing the campaign!

I’ll be sharing more soon, including behind the scenes photos and stories as we make the magic happen.
